A little drizzle may stick around overnight with a weak disturbance in the mid-levels lining up with the jetstream to bring in some moisture. After that, a more zonal pattern will set up for the weekend, which will keep some cloud cover around, but we’re looking drier. Both UO and OSU are home this weekend, and we’ll see great Fall, football weather.
A ridge will move in to start the work week. Because it is October, I’m not anticipating a major warm-up, but I do think we’ll see increasing sunshine for Monday and Tuesday. Right now most models pulling in a disturbance by the end of the work week, with the pre-frontal clouds moving in Wednesday night into Thursday morning. So we’ll see slightly cooler temperatures for Wednesday through Friday. The line of rain right now looks to come in Thursday overnight into Friday with a line of scattered showers sticking around for the first half of the day. After that, showers will become more isolated.
